Health care is now offered through the AFT for adjuncts. This is NOT the same higher-priced plan that was offered by the state of New Jersey which was open to enrollment only once a year.To be eligible you must be an AFT member in good standing. The two new plans offer benefits that can include doctors' office visits as well as X-rays and hospital stays, which can be extended to eligible dependents. An additional feature is the prescription drug plan that provides generic drugs for a $10 co-pay.
