Welcome back to Montclair State University! I hope you had a relaxing summer and time to prepare for the Fall semester. During the last few months I have been fighting to protect the interests of our Adjunct faculty while working closely with our Full-time faculty union leadership at MSU. This was a difficult period of uncertainty and pressure upon our AFT faculty unions, but decisions were made in the best interests of all which resulted in the exclusion of adjunct faculty members of Local 6025 from any cuts or deferral of raises. Hopefully, the restoration of funding in the next two years will allow

the raises for our full-time faculty brothers and sisters to be restored  as promised by the Administration. We will support them in their efforts to achieve fair treatment for all AFT members.
