On February 3, 2010, Kean University and the KUAFF signed off on a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA # 32), which established procedures for the distribution and collection and dissemination of Student Feedback on Adjunct Faculty Teaching.

KUAFF- Local 6024 Members make contribution to AFT National Disaster Relief Fund.

On February 2, at 12 noon, the KUAFF Council approved the names of those agreeing to serve on Local's Spring 2010 Elections Committee, which were put forth by the Local's President, Pursuant to Article VIII, Sec. 2 "COMMITTEES" of the KUAFF Constitution which states: The following Special Committees shall be appointed by the President and confirmed by the Executive Council (click heading to view names of the Committee).

A New Year's Letter containing most important Spring 2010 Semester Information for all Kean University Adjunct Faculty has been electronically mailed to each individual  KUAFF member and Bargaining unit non-member whose email addresses are on file with the union.  If you did not receive a copy of this E-Newsletter you need to contact the KUAFF immediately and provide them with your ISP email address.

After many years of negotiating with the Kean Administration, Dr. Farahi has agreed to permit Adjunct Faculty to teach an increased workload.

On Wednesday, October 22, 2008, Kean University and the KUAFF signed off on a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA # 30), which would provide additional compensation to adjunct faculty who are given replacement courses in place of their original contracted assignment.  MOA # 31 becomes effective beginning January 22, 2009 until June 30, 2011.

On Wednesday, October 22, 2008, Kean University and the KUAFF signed off on a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA # 31), which would provide additional compensation for adjuncts whose current class course meets twice per week throughout the semester, and whose schedules will be changed to meet three days per week. In addition to that, those adjuncts teaching during the "Weekend College" hours" will also receive additional compensation.

MOA # 31 becomes effective beginning September 1, 2009, as this years university fiscal budget would not permit changes at this late date.
